We understand how important ceremony and ritual are to celebrating the important moments of our lives.  So Aloha Lani Weddings works with you to create a ceremony that incorporates the things that are meaningful and significant  to you.

Regardless of what kind of ceremony you choose, Aloha Lani Weddings can take care of all the details that will leave you with fond memories of your wedding.  Flowers, photography, videography, gowns and tuxedos, and even the limousine that will whisk you to and from your wedding in style—we will handle all arrangements so that you can relax and enjoy your special day in Paradise.

And if you’re looking for the extra touch of romance—a tropical garden, perhaps, or a secluded beach—we’ll provide it for you.  This is our home, and we take pride in inviting you to share it with us.

We offer four categories of ceremonies, and each will be tailored to your individual wishes and desires.  Please continue on to see descriptions, photos, and details of each of our ceremony categories.

Ceremony is the ebb and flow of life itself.

Our most requested, A Spiritual Ceremony consecrates your marriage vows in spirit, respectfully non denominational, but a ceremony that acknowledges and accepts the blessings of the higher power in the universe recognized by all cultures.

The light of God surrounds us;

The love of God enfolds us;

The power of God protects us;

The presence of God watches over us;

Wherever we are God is.

James Dillet Friedman,

 The Prayer for Protection

An Affirmative Ceremony is similar to a civil ceremony that might be conducted by a state or local official. It is enhanced by a setting reflective of our island paradise, and can include the touches, such as a reading, poetry or music, that make your ceremony distinctive.

Look to this day!

 For it is life

the very life of life

In its brief course lie all the verities

and realities of your existence:

The bliss of growth,

The flurry of action,

The splendor of beauty,

For yesterday is but a dream,

And tomorrow is only a vision,

But today, well lived, makes every yesterday

A dream of happiness

And every tomorrow a vision of hope,

Look well, therefore, to this day.

In its brief

A Traditional Ceremony usually is a more structured Christian ceremony associated with a formal setting, but that can be adapted to a tranquil beach, a colorful garden, or a contemporary chapel.  Prayers and scriptures from the Holy Bible are used.

Love is patient and kind…

Love bears all things,

believes all things,

hopes all things,

Love never ends.

Faith, hope and love abide,

but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13

A Cultural Ceremony  Indigenous cultures, such as that of the native Hawaiians, use ritual, presentation, movement, and language in different manners to recognize and celebrate marriage. It’s a unique and memorable interleaving of cultural practice that creates a ceremony you’ll always treasure.

Na ke aloha I kono e hui ‘olua e.

Love has made a plea that you two become united.

I ka hakamoa keia, ke halakau nei ka lani…

Here is a perch, a heavenly resting place…

…Pili olua e-

…You two are now one,

Moku ka pawa e ke ao

The darkness has begun to depart

Ke moakaka nei ka hikina

The east is beginning to brighten

Ua hiki ho’I,

For day is here at last!

Ho’ao e!

You are wedded!
